The heart-shaped diamond clutch is named 1001 Nights. The purse is inspired by the epic tale of romance and intrigue, and has been designed to attract attention to details and elaborate workmanship incorporating thousands of diamonds. The purse is made from 18 karat gold studded with 4517 diamonds. There are 105 yellow stones, 56 pink ones, and 4356 colorless diamonds. This clutch comes to the impressive 381.92 karats altogether. Ten artisans worked on the clutch for around 8800 hours, under the watchful eye of designer Robert Mouawad.
The Dubai-based designer, House of Mouawad, was founded in 1890 and is no stranger to extremely high end creations (they made another Guinness record – the Fantasy Bra for Victoria’s Secret).
