Kate Moss‘ Autumn/Winter 2009-2010 latest collection for Topshop is a series of striking biker chic and pieces inspired by the 80s. The key item is the faux fur jacket but there is also a touch of tailoring in a sleek suede coat. We can also observe the popular for Autumn/Winter 2009-2010 Russian trend in an embroidered velvet cropped jacket. Kate Moss wears a heavy dark make-up and ripped tights, which features limited edition pieces exclusive to the web and selected stores including a culotte jumpsuit and the super-long leather coat. Prints are also an important part of Kate’s winter wardrobe, with butterfly prints appearing in tops and scarves. The biker references run through sexy studded vest tops and the ‘Girl on A Motorcycle’ theme is fused with hippy chic in a studded kaftan dress.

Shoes And Boots Fall (Autumn) 2009

Amont them you can find fabulous pieces like the Dior suede and python ankle boot. I really like the texture throughout the entire shoe, even the heel. When the shoe is on the foot, the cut outs between the suede straps are more apparent. It has a 4.25 inch heel and a 1 inch platform. $1,090.
As well as the gorgeous Gucci paillettes (sequins) shoes which can warm your heart. This Gucci Sofia Paillettes Ankle Boots with a 4 inch heel is reminiscent of the good old days of fabulous Gucci designs whenTom Ford was still there. The only thing that could improve this shoe is if the heel was also covered in paillettes. $1,190.
This Marc Jacobs boot has such a distinct and unique look! It’s fashioned after the Holland wooden shoe, and it is totally fresh and new in designer shoes. It’s not really beautiful, but it does have a quirky style. These boots are slip on (it has a 8 inch leg circumference), and the ankle strap functions to keep the shoe from slipping off when you walk. When you are standing in these shoes, you can look into the shoe and see the top of your foot. You gotta see these shoes in person to really appreciate the amazing design.

Military fashion trend 2010
August 19, 2009The military trend has never been out of fashion. It’s one of designer’s favourite shape and motiv especially for colder months. It has not been left behind this Fall (Autumn)-Winter season 2009-2010 by designers such as Gareth Pugh, Alexander McQueen, John Galliano, Trussardi, and Burberry who have transformed the traditional uniform into a masculine fashionable look.
Gareth Pugh, with one of the most unusual menswear collections for Autumn-Winter 2009-2010 has been inspired by the German officer overcoats from the Second World War and the metal suits that were worn under suits of armour.
Movies can also be seen as a heavy influence in Pugh’s Autumn/Winter collection with feathers for shoulder decoration as inspiration from The Crow as well as the Gothic ripped trousers and black boots and the metallic body combat suit.
Burberry presented tailored coats inspired by French naval officers and a two tone pea coat that is linked again to the Second World War.
D&G have used the patterned Musketeer jacket detailing that was later used on band uniforms and other military jackets.
John Galliano has expanded the old Pirates’ and Captains’ clothing into a fashionable trend. He included the old white wigs and fold-over leather boots to really help support the history that he is repeating on the catwalk.

Christian Louboutin has brought out an extreme pair of ruffle python stiletto almost 5 inch heels for spring. I do not know who will buy these, but they are over the top in every way. The platform heel, the large rose ruffle, the python skin. This almost $3,000 shoe is too crazy for words. For all your Christian Louboutin fans, I say take a look at this pair and buy a more practical pair. Leave this pair for Kim Kardashian or Victoria Beckham.
