Formal Updos Trends 2012

September 29, 2011

A new formal hairstyle trend is taking shape on the runways: textured, twisted updos with an imperfect finish. Use a densitive lotion and volume active mousse to add body before folding hair into different sections and interweaving chic, black quills or other accessories all around. Don’t hide the marks of fingers or a quick rake of the brush. The formal hairstyles are perfect for your prom, wedding or formal dinner.

Fashion Hairstyle Trends 2011

May 17, 2011

Bob hairstyle is gaining new speed in fashion. The length is increasing though and apart from straightening the hair, you can curl it in a beachy wave to keep it interesting. Here are the steps of how to create this hairstyle:

  1. Apply volumizing Mousse all through the hair, then dry in.
  2. Section off the hair then create some loose, semi-curls with a curling iron (do not fully curly them). Start curling a few inches down from the roots.
  3. Spray the hair with hair Spray to create a relaxed, beachy texture.
  4. Finally, blast the hair with a hair dryer to break it up.
