Kimono, meaning “thing to wear” in Japanese, is one of Japan’s most beautiful treasure. Kimonos are not a very popular sight these days and are usually only seen worn by older women or on special occasions. Part of the reason is the cost, as a decent silk kimono will cost you a million yen.
